The starting line

So, here it is. My first real attempt into a fully realized web log. I've thought about starting something like this for a long time. Way back in my High School days (Go Bulldogs), I tried my hand at some of the more creative aspects of writing. But I did not put enough focus or energy into it to cultivate into anything that could be taken anywhere. Many years later, writing would take a central position in my daily life. I worked in a job that would alow me the chance to become a practiced informational, and investigative report writer. I started thinking it would be great to take my skills as a writer and apply them to things I had an interest in outside of the job. Of course, I ran headlong into never having any time, or energy left after work. Now, many years later at 2:25 AM on July 4th, 2013, I'm finally able to make my own little declaration of independance. I'm at that unique intersection of having the creative energy, the time, and a fair bit of knowledge and wisdom to turn this into something. Thanks for taking a little time to read these musings of a madman from Jersey.
